I have been diabetic for 30 years. Last night I found myself with the machine, which I usually use, not working. It was the only pharmacy where I was able to find test strips compatible with another machine I had as a spare at home. The super kind doctor reassured me on the phone and helped me. When he arrived on site he gave me 2 boxes of test strips and what's more he didn't even make me pay taking into account that I would have had to give more or less €70 anyway. Friendly, professional and kind. The best pharmacy since I've been in Rome! Congratulations and thanks again
If I could rate it with zero I would. Let me start by saying that I don't live in the area but, being out for a walk and finding myself in an emergency situation, I promptly stopped at the sight of the open pharmacy. A woman greets me at the counter, I don't know if she was a pharmacist or something else but it doesn't matter. I describe the device I needed (not a drug), a simple detector of ketone bodies in urine, I didn't know the commercial name but at the request of the lady in question, I made a call, standing aside and making the queue move forward without making stories but always appearing polite and courteous. The Lady instead addressed me in a rude and superficial way. When asked to order the aforementioned product he replied that a doctor's prescription was needed. I'm shocked and I'm leaving. Especially because as a healthcare worker I knew that the prescription would not be necessary. I understand it's Sunday and there's little desire to work but, if the pharmacy remains open, hopefully it can offer the desired service and above all meet qualified staff.
