It's good to have a pharmacy on such a small island as Vulcano. But the owner / pharmacist is the most impolite and unpleasant person I’ve ever seen in any commerce in any country! Avoid it if you care of your calm and good mood during your vacation.
Appallingly rude, he instructed me that I needed a prescription for bandages, I confirmed with the local doctor that I did not. Time wasted and no apology.
The only pharmacy on the island. Small but sufficient. Easy access with ramp for wheelchair users. Air conditioning .
Very bad. They sold me a pack of contact lenses as if it were the only brand available when they had others that they didn't even offer me and, what's more, the question "are they for ten days?" I heard myself answering “yes” when there were only 10 lenses (and therefore for just 5 days at a whopping €13.00!)
This Friday, July 2, 2021, before the last day of our vacation, I noticed that I am missing a bottle of my stalevo 75 treatment. The pharmacist who received us was particularly unpleasant and above all assured us that this medication does not exist in Italy which is false. We have other resources, but I would like to point out the incompetence of this practitioner.
