Farmacia Ciotti Alessandra

Few weeks ago, I had just landed in Rome and started to explore the city with my friends. I walked into this pharmacy for a blister of Nurofen for a terrible headache I had. I paid 10 euros for a blister of 12 pills, are they serious? 10 EUROS, while in the UK, were I live, it is max 3 GBP! OK, I understand tourist traps restaurants or souvenir shops, but a pharmacy? This literally should be illegal. Please don't buy from this pharmacy unless you really have to; How low can you get to overcharge for a simple Nurofen a tourist, honest to god, you can't get sick around a tourist hotspot! Enjoy my 1 star review and next time don't overprice over the counter medicines!

QUICK STOP ! On Wednesday, Sept 27th the last day of our amazing vacation in Rome my wife and I had a free day...that is no planned tours so we could do what we wanted. After breakfast at a cafe near our apartment in Monti we walked for about 15 minutes to see the spectacular Trevi Fountain. My wife needed some headache tablets so we popped in here for a minute. Friendly courteous service !

Coming from the US, I was accustomed to being able to purchase Ibuprofen from any convenience store. Whereas, its availability was limited to pharmacies in Rome. But it was quick and easy to get here.

Excellent ! They help us to find out about our rapid test that we did it in the morning at different pharmacy! They spoke English language , that's so important for us cause everything else just talking in Italian! Thanks for your help!!!
