Avoid like the bubonic plague taking the rapid test for Covid 19 at this pharmacy! Carried out with my husband on Friday 4/29/2022, perplexed by the girl's lack of professionalism (I don't think she's a doctor because she wasn't wearing a white coat or any identification), little protection for her (I pointed it out to her... ) and very poor hygiene in the cubby hole: containers full of already used swabs, completely open! The test result was given to me after about 2 minutes and to my husband after about a minute from when he took the swab, clearly negative (and yes, it could be, but I have two other positive results, one taken at home on Friday morning and one in another pharmacy in Mercato S. Severino yesterday, Saturday 30 April). I asked if she was sure of the result, because I seemed to have seen the two colored lines (like in the one carried out at home), but she promptly threw them into the bin/sheep of the tests already carried out), given that she had absolutely not waited for the 15 minute timing; he replied that, given his experience, he now "reads them almost immediately"!? Paid to her, in cash which she put in her backpack... Then speaking with the neighbor (a nurse who had just tested negative for Covid, with her whole family), she told me that both she and another his colleague had the same terrible experience at this municipal pharmacy! I am extremely indignant, I just CANNOT imagine how anyone can be so irresponsible and treacherous, aware of being an infector, perhaps making the virus circulate, even among fragile people (as my husband and I are, elderly and with serious pathologies! ...Ditto my neighbor, who worked another day in the hospital and has two old parents living together with serious pathologies!) After the third swab I was tempted to return to this pharmacy to make a mess and also have a receipt issued (the service is carried out externally, so those at the checkout probably don't even realize the "personal business" of the unit used outside...?), but being symptomatic and with the certainty of the newly certified positivity, it was not appropriate to go to the pharmacy in question again (I will do so as soon as I am negative again!) P.S.: the other pharmacy was much more attentive and professional, I automatically received the necessary receipt, as is right, and showed me the test result in the blister, after the expected 15' wait. I have no negative notes for the doctors who work inside, who are always friendly.
