I'm giving one star because you can't do less. You try to explain a problem to them and they don't even listen to you....rude like few others...🤬to say the least

Small pharmacy with everything you need. Excellent service, friendly and fast

I often use the pharmacy for personal needs for which I have always had advice and follow-up. I also use veterinary medicines and I have found trained, helpful, kind and precise professionals. The pharmacists are very polite and helpful, accommodating if possible. The owner seems gruff, but in reality he is of an unexpected delicacy. Comprehensive and available, he does not limit himself to satisfying the customer's single request but suggests suitable alternatives, with understanding of any inconveniences that may be encountered. Intelligent display of products, supplied and always reliable.

6.10pm yesterday 02 January 2023 I entered the Somacal pharmacy in Ponte nelle Alpi with my wife while our daughter with a fever of 39e8 was waiting for us in the car. My wife explains the situation and asks the pharmacist for an antibiotic, Macladin, prescribed by the GP in our (far away) city. The pharmacist walks away for a few seconds and returns to the counter saying that she can't give it to us because we need the prescription. So far ok, we know the rules too. My wife repeats that our daughter is in the car in the pharmacy car park with a fever of almost 40 and there is a registered prescription and underlines the urgency of administering Macladin on the orders of our daughter's doctor. The pharmacist insists that she won't give it to us and invites us to go to the doctor on call who sees her after 8pm. It was 6.13pm. We struggle to accept those words but all we have to do is adapt and go out. Luckily, a few minutes later our daughter was able to take Macladin, an hour and 40 minutes before being received by the doctor on call, as intelligently suggested to us by the Somacal pharmacist from Ponte nelle Alpi. I leave the judgment to the public who will read this story, confident that it will provide excellent publicity for the Somacal pharmacy. Surely Hippocrates will jump in his grave. Sensitivity and professionalism (not to be confused with the obstinate refusal to give us antibiotics) distinguish the Somacal pharmacy, we all understand this. Luckily there are serious pharmacists and a few others, children of a lesser god. As far as we are concerned, 1 star at the Somacal pharmacy in Ponte nelle Alpi is definitely a gift. Shame.
