The Calatafimi Pharmacy is an essential point of reference in the city. Their decision to remain open 24 hours a day is a welcome service to the community, especially when emergencies or needs arise outside of daytime hours. The pharmacy offers a wide range of products, covering many different customer needs. Remarkably, they also offer COVID swab service, which has become crucial in recent times. Furthermore, the staff definitely deserves praise. They are always friendly and ready to help customers, providing helpful advice and answering questions expertly. A note to consider is that some medications or less common products may take a while to obtain, but are usually delivered the same day or at most by the next day. It should be noted that product prices tend to be slightly higher than average, which may be a factor to consider for some customers.
Very bad experience. Let me start by saying that if a pharmacy guarantees a 24-hour service it should make sure that its employees have the desire and professionalism to do so. I went to the aforementioned pharmacy to buy a drug on a Saturday evening and while I was asking the pharmacist what I needed he had the next customer approach me while I was talking. Without saying anything to both of us he goes away and after a few minutes he comes back with my receipt and the medicine. When I ask to upload the tax code to unload the shopping he replies "he should have told me before, it's in his interest". It's a shame, however, that he interrupted me by asking what the next customer wanted and then walked away without giving me the chance to understand which of the two was serving. Leaving aside the rudeness and lack of professionalism of this pharmacist, I would like to remind you that when it comes to health, the right to privacy must also be guaranteed. So you serve one customer at a time, dedicating the necessary time and attention. I understand that working at night is not nice, but he is not the only one who has to do it and in any case if someone goes to the pharmacy at inconvenient times it is certainly not to please or disturb the employees, who among other things are paid extra given the increase in night service. Disgraceful service, I will never set foot there again.
I went to buy some bandages and before paying, given that, as they do in other pharmacies, I wasn't asked if I had a health card and if I wanted to pay the amount, I inquired about it and the person at the counter replied to me yes, so I replied, why not ask me, since I can't know all the drugs or aids that can be downloaded (besides, they were 15 euros) and he replied very rudely: "it's your interest, not mine" .... I would say a true champion of desire to work, honesty, respect and savoir-faire. I gave up because it was Sunday afternoon and I understand that being on shift isn't the best.... But since I'm not well, what fault do I have for his dissatisfaction? I too have been working for the public for many years and I have never allowed myself to respond like that to a customer. It's not done. Even more so if you are an employee and in a pharmacy where 80% of people go only for health needs.👎🏻The owners should then know how to instruct employees and monitor such inappropriate behavior.
Assortment, courtesy, competence and professionalism. I don't know what else to ask for!
Excellent 24/7 service.
