Convenient pharmacy on the main road, the Doctor is helpful and professional. A resource for the town of San Menaio!

Until a few days ago I was on holiday in the Gargano and I was staying near Peschici, to avoid going with the car into the alleys of the town looking for an unlikely parking spot, I decided to travel a few more kilometers to get to the San Menaio pharmacy, much further away but conveniently located along the Gargano road. Before leaving I tried to call to check if the drugs were available or if necessary to check if they could be ordered, but the phone was disconnected. I decide to go anyway, when I arrive the pharmacy seems closed, sign and lights off, no one at the counter; on my third "hello, is there anyone" the pharmacist shows up and obviously doesn't say hello, okay... when I kindly point out that perhaps they have problems with the telephone line he replies "if I hang up the phone then I'll have to pay", second okay ...without losing my smile I show the electronic prescription...the pharmacist continues not to say a word while he starts to snort because an elderly couple was looking at some exposed shoes, shortly after he scolds them because they shouldn't touch it (he underlines that the goods are displayed in a way that looks more like a flea market... including powder, than a pharmacy). After a search on the PC, the pharmacist told me that one of the two drugs (he still had to verify the other) could be ordered and that it would arrive after 6pm. Again very politely, I asked if he could tell me more or less what time was best for me. to review since I had a long way to go, but without letting me finish the sentence he blurts out, saying the exact words: "if it's going to stress me out, it won't matter!". Here, as you can easily imagine, I lose my calm, smile and kindness and I give him a big rant about the rudeness and very little professionalism shown...in response he tells me "you can see the sun hurts". Obviously at this point I send it where you can imagine and leave. Moral of the story, if you need a pharmacy avoid this one like the plague, better to get to Rodi, Peschici, Vico... even Foggia! PS. I didn't have the pleasure of meeting his wife, who knows, maybe it would have gone better!

I bought a supplement that on average costs no more than €7.00 (price verifiable on the web), Massingen Recovery Plus 24 sachets, in this pharmacy they robbed me of €20.90!!! I advise anyone who needs a pharmacy near San Menaio to travel a few more kilometers and get to Rodi Garganico. I will report it to the consumer association!!!

I went to the pharmacy to get some swabs...absurd costs! The pharmacist showed that they cost €18.00 and that with discounts I would have paid €12.00 each. Swabs that cost a maximum of 6.49 in all pharmacies. So for three swabs I would have had to pay €36.00. Shameful and worthy of denunciation!

Bad judgement. Closing at 1200 instead of 1300 as written on the sign as the doctor had other commitments. The doctor has no respect for the client. Without the required medication. Unprofessional, unpleasant and unsympathetic person.
