Very bad experience.. this evening I went to this pharmacy as a night shift pharmacy because my wife had a congested nose and couldn't breathe and I needed actifed nasal spray or something similar but unfortunately the pharmacist categorically refused to give it to me as I didn't have a medical prescription and he advised me to go to the doctor's office. Believe me, even though I asked him extremely kindly for the courtesy of being able to give it to me, his answer remained fixed on NO. I will never set foot in this pharmacy again even during the day. I really advise against going there.
terrible experience this evening: indecent night service, in fact practically non-existent, the only pharmacy on duty in the entire province of Potenza together with one in San Nicola, the clerk/employee (I don't think the owner because if it had been his the pharmacy would never have answered in that way), he refuses to provide over-the-counter medicines such as tachiflù and tachipirina saying that a doctor's prescription is needed (these are over-the-counter medicines, you don't need a prescription), I show my card (I am registered with the medical register and can prescribe medicines) he invites me to write the prescription in the SSN prescription book, I don't have the red prescription book, so I am invited to go to the doctor's office to have the prescription written and then go back to the centre. terrible behavior almost liable to be reported, I don't think the pharmacist can refuse to supply drugs to a doctor who can easily prescribe them
In August I went to the Mancinelli pharmacy (the only one open because it was on duty) due to an allergic reaction, to buy some cortisone and an antihistamine. I am a doctor and the pharmacist refused to give me the drugs, demanding a red prescription, even though I had shown him my medical card. This evening again I was not given the requested drugs (Tachipirina, oki and tachiflu), this behavior for me denotes an absolute lack of professionalism.
The only pharmacy open in all of Potenza and its surroundings and we had problems twice! In August my boyfriend didn't have the prescription, it's true but he was a doctor and was having an allergic reaction for which he needed cortisone which was not given to him even though he had presented his card! We then had to run to the emergency room because our throat was swelling, when with cortisone we would have solved it instantly! Today for a Tachipirina for fever and a tachi flu he tells us we need the recipe. I have to keep my fever all night! Because I can wait until tomorrow! Thank you very much!
A shame! It's Saturday night and this ''Pharmacy'' was indicated as the only one on duty in all of Potenza. I arrive there and find it closed, I call the telephone number and a guy answers me who with disdain and arrogance worthy of a postal employee tells me that they only open in case of a medical prescription ''with urgency''. Crazy stuff, I would have had to find a doctor at one in the morning to urgently prescribe the tachypirin because I had a fever of 38 and then go back there again and maybe he would have had the decency to give it to me?!? You might as well wait until the following day and go to a NORMAL Pharmacy, because this one is seriously ABNORMAL. It is also serious that the Municipality, among many valid and efficient pharmacies in Potenza to which to give the night shift, has chosen this one for which there really are no words.
