This morning the doctor on duty refused to give me a simple eye drop for my slightly red eye. Evidently I had taken a breath of air and it bothered me, without any particular pain. Instead, the doctor, without even looking at me, told me that I should go to the ophthalmic emergency room because eyes are delicate and she didn't take responsibility. Naturally I went to another pharmacy where they gave me eye drops which resolved the situation in 2 hours. If I had listened to the doctor I would still be in line at the emergency department where they would have laughed in my face. Then we complain if the hospitals are in trouble…. It's the fault of doctors who don't do their job.
