Farmacia Piramide

I am visiting the country on vacations, and I went to this pharmacy with my husband to buy prescribed antibiotics to him. The pharmacy attendant, that did not identify himself as the pharmacist, told that when you buy antibiotics you MUST buy prebiotics together. I said we would only buy the prescribed antibiotics that time, and he aggressively insisted that we could not buy antibiotics without buying prebiotics, he was very rude and yelling at us in front of other customers. The way he was saying, was like if it was a federal law in Italy that you cannot buy one without other, and I told him that I would not buy both, we did not need at that moment (it is none of his business if I had already probiotics, prebiotics or yogurt at home in case of any intestinal side effects that the antibiotics may cause, I also can ask the doctor guidance if needed, I did not ask his rude advice, I only wanted what was prescribed by the DOCTOR). He offended me telling me that I did not know what antibiotics were for (not knowing that I am a pharmacist that works to large pharmaceutical companies in clinical research). Very bad experience at this pharmacy, not a nice way to treat the customers. From his attitude, I only can imagine he would get some bonus for pushing medicines to the customers. A place to avoid!
