You can take a walk in covid test before the cruise no appointments necessary
Welcome in America
Terrible experience and utmost rudeness on the part of the pharmacists. On the 14th c.m. in the afternoon, experiencing symptoms after a trip abroad, I went to the pharmacy for a quick swab to check whether or not I was positive for Covid-19. The only decent person was the gentleman at the checkout to whom I gave the health card and to whom I paid for the test. There were 2 pharmacists present. One took a sample from both nostrils. To say that it hurt me is an understatement but in any case for an exam it is fine but the rude and hasty manner of the treatment she gave me is absolutely not befitting of a health and health professional. I took the sample while I was leaving the pharmacy with a sore nose and told me it took 10 minutes and the result was ready. After 15 minutes and not knowing if someone was coming out or I had to go in to get the report, I still went in wearing the FP2 mask, which I never took off except for the few seconds of the blood sample. And in any case I still didn't know I was positive for Covid-19. The pharmacists, on the other hand, evidently already knew it. In fact, as soon as I entered, taking me to the corner of the pharmacy furthest from the numerous people and where I was practically alone, the other pharmacist noticed me and told me very loudly and in an arrogant as well as very annoyed tone "you have to come out" we will join you. ..." Then the gentleman from the cash register came out to give me the report with the positivity. These are the facts. I could add comments but I deliberately refrain. I'll only do one. Nowadays we know that it is not mandatory to take a swab test to verify positivity for Covid-19. Just as it is not mandatory for those with symptoms or even for a positive person to quarantine at home. So I could easily and without a mask go to the pharmacy to get some drugs to treat myself and maybe infect someone and no one would have told me anything. Having instead done my civic duty according to the anti-Covid-19 health protocols, I was treated worse than a leper.
Bad experience, rude and in bad faith. I needed a drug under a regular medical prescription for some fairly important problems. I also had to show the conversation with my doctor to prove the authenticity of the prescription. In my region, due to Covid and the few active doctors, we are experiencing a very difficult period, and the pharmacists, as well as the few active doctors, help us by all means (despite not always being able to), to obtain prescriptions and the necessary treatments for usual pathologies. I found myself by chance in this pharmacy, just before boarding, to purchase my usual medication. I repeat, this is an important treatment followed for years by my doctor, who absentmindedly corrected the number of the month. In truth and sincerely, I hadn't not even aware of this oversight! The pharmacist, with a pedantic tone, insinuated that it had been falsified and that he should have called my doctor to make sure it was real, at a time when he is not available and moreover in a state of illness, in short, a prohibitive situation. Zero empathy, zero understanding, prejudiced, rude, I even showed the old prescriptions and he repeated the usual "we can't" nonsense. At that point I left indignant and humiliated, reciprocating his rudeness. Fortunately in Civitavecchia not everyone is like this gentleman who is so rude and not very human, so I went to another pharmacy; a very kind doctor, she understood the situation and served me quickly without accusing me or intimidating me like the gentleman mentioned above. I don't wish for the gentleman to find himself away from home and feel ill, and need an indispensable drug to face a long journey that worsens his symptoms and then find himself in an unknown pharmacy with such rude staff with little tact. I felt uncomfortable, as if I were being accused. Highly not recommended! I advise Mr., empathy and less prejudice, but above all that the period we are living in is contextualized!!!
Pharmacy complete with every pharmaceutical, galenic, parapharmacy, beauty, health, sports, healthcare footwear product. It is important to know that at the cost of 5 euros at this pharmacy you can order medicines from the Vatican pharmacy. It is the responsibility of the pharmacy to send its own messenger to collect the medicines and therefore they can be collected when requested. Be careful with galenic products, sometimes they are not mixed properly. The service is prompt and ole grade. In any case they try to please you and still solve every problem.
