I bought an Omron M3 blood pressure monitor (model Hem-7155-E) at a cost of 90 euros, without an adapter. I then saw that on Amazon and other sites the price was much lower (ranging from 56-64 euros). After asking for clarification, I was kindly told by the pharmacy that the costs of running the store (staff, etc.) require the sales price to be increased compared to the online one. However, I remain perplexed by such a difference in price and such a mark-up, especially for a tool that is often essential for many vulnerable groups (elderly, pensioners, etc.). ——- After the answer, I must point out that I was not given any discount at the counter (I paid what was asked) and that in the past I have purchased even better quality instruments. The price paid seems excessive to me even compared to the functions offered by the device. This is my opinion, it may or may not be shared, but the answer that I didn't understand the clarifications made certainly seems inelegant to me. Just do a quick price search online to understand the markup that has been applied by the physical store. However, I will check with other stores for a more in-depth evaluation.

I asked for explanations why I paid 30.80 for a medicine with a price written on the package of 26.50 euros, and they responded in an elusive way. They are a few euros that don't change your life but give the feeling of having suffered a small scam. I would have preferred the original price to be canceled or updated.
