Last Wednesday my local pharmacy was closed so I went to this pharmacy asking for a healing agent, connectin if possible, to heal open wounds on my hands and knees. The lady who served me gave me a cream, Streptosil, assuring me that it was excellent for healing the wound. After 5 days the wound didn't show the slightest hint of healing and the skin still didn't heal so I had doubts and I went to check the composition of the ointment. Even though I did not have a degree in medicine, I immediately realized that the function of the ointment recommended by the pharmacist did not match the function of connectinin. In fact, Steptosil is used to fight bacterial skin infections, while I had requested connectin which is used to heal wounds. If a patient comes to the pharmacy to get advice from an expert, then I wonder why you dispense wrong advice. If I ask for connectinin and the pharmacist gives me Streptosil, I ignorantly trust her thinking that it is similar to or better than connectinin but I would never have thought that she had sold me something different than my explicit request. I was really disappointed by this pharmacy so I would not recommend it.
