#covid test; Having found out (unpleasantly) at Palermo airport that they no longer do Covid tests for people departing Sicily by plane, we were directed to this pharmacy to do the paid rapid test (we only had 40 minutes left till check-in close). I called and agreed with the pharmacist in Italian that they would do the test immediately after we arrive (10 minutes). When we got there, however, the guy at the counter (whom others called “doctor”) kept on ignoring and delaying us, claiming that he first needs too serve all his local clients with medication before he can do the tests. This was not what we agreed and also there was his colleague serving clients as well. “Medication is urgent and the COVID tests are not” was his claim. Very impolite and added a lot to our stress. He finally gave us another address so we had to rush another 8 mins to a parapharmacy at via Nazionale 76 in Cinisi (staff there were super friendly and efficient, by the way!). Farmacia Viola was a very unpleasant experience and we felt discriminated against.

Slow, they don't know their own system, and no one speaks English

The Doctor is very kind. Randazzo who in September during closing hours kept the pharmacy open so that both my husband and I could take the Covid swab. Thanks to him we didn't miss the plane, which would have left in 2 hours. All the other pharmacies refused because we hadn't booked. Thank you so much.

Very kind staff, they always welcome with a smile, the staff is always ready for every customer need. Very knowledgeable staff, every advice on some products was excellent. They always give discounts on the goods purchased.
