I had an amazing visit with a large group! The tour guide was kind, patient, knowledgeable, and was welcoming the entire time. You can see the ancient pharmacy frozen in time from when it closed in the 1950s. Be sure to organize your visit in advance, and you can also buy some of the remedies they would use when it was open. Highly recommend! Old pharmacy in Europe!

Hidden gem away from the crowded tourist areas of Rome. It is like walking into the set of a movie (think Harry Potter and cauldrons lessons) seeing all the old bottles and boxes on the walls. The tour was in English and the guide was very friendly. It cost €5 per person. It is a little out of the main tourist area so leave a bit more time for travel than we did but the guide was very accommodating and showed us the things we missed at the start. Very glad we made the time to go.

This was one of the coolest things we saw in Rome. We had scheduled a tour ahead of time, via email, like clearly directed on the website. They only had tours available in Italian but our guide was kind enough to translate it to English for us as well. It's perfectly preserved and charming. I highly recommend it. Totally worth the €5 they charge. ETA: Villa Farnesina is a quick 4-minute walk away and we highly recommend that as well. and I
