Caught a bit of a cold towards the end of my vacation to Italy. Went to the Farmacia and was so grateful for the assistance I was provided. Excellent store, helpful staff!
Open all days including Sunday, generous choice, albeit pricey compared to some products you may buy at home abroad (paracetamol). Professionals that take their jobs serious and as such could do with a smile, as staff is not exceptionally friendly. Then again, you’d go here for their broad choice and professional understanding, and open all days. At a store like Sephora perhaps they’d smile more yet offer no intelligent advise. Still the smile would honestly help and earn more stars.
Very helpful staff with generally good language help if you need it. Always had wherever I've needed so no complaints.

I called from Rome asking if they were open the following day, as I was traveling to Cortona, and if they would do the swab with the COI index as it had been prescribed for my hospitalization and the response was positive. When I went to the pharmacy to take the swab, I told the doctor that I needed it with the COI index. The doctor took the swab and gave it to me without the requirement I wanted. When I asked him the reason, he replied "but ma'am, what will the COI index be? I'll ask Google but it can't answer me either". So I paid for a service that was not sufficient for my hospitalization.
