I called this evening at 9.30pm to make sure that the pharmacy was actually open as it was reported as a pharmacy on duty. Since I live 25 minutes away I wanted to make sure I wasn't making a wasted trip and that the pharmacy had what I needed. The pharmacist replies and, in response to my "I wanted to know if you were open", she STARTS TO INSULT ME BECAUSE "YOU DON'T CALL TO FIND OUT IF THE PHARMACY ON DUTY IS OPEN, YOU JUST GO!!!" And then in the end HE DIDN'T HAVE THE MEDICATION I NEEDED! But madness!!! But take a holiday for goodness' sake!!!

Well-stocked pharmacy and certainly trained staff, but their insistence and desire to sell beyond what is due at all costs is not acceptable. Advice is always welcome, but what you call "enthusiasm in the advice" I call insistence. It is right to propose, but with the right manners, enabling the customer to evaluate and decide calmly and clearly, you must not weaken him psychologically to obtain a sale that often makes no sense. You are still pharmacists, therefore doctors in pharmacy, you are not market sellers, come on!!!

Very prepared and available

Dear MEDGIULI, I am the owner of the PEDRENGO Pharmacy and, having only now read your review, I would like to make some clarifications. The earlobe piercing service is normally performed in the pharmacy room in an analysis box located in front of the room. I was truly surprised and saddened by her negative memory from a long time ago, because normally the ear piercing service is highly appreciated and my collaborators are helpful and patient even when there are children who, despite wanting to have earrings, are afraid of piercing. I cannot contextualize his memory in a specific period and therefore I can only, generalising, explain that in the pharmacy, sometimes, suddenly, queues of impatient people form waiting for the medicine. It may have happened that, on that occasion, the colleague who was preparing to carry out the drilling service was asked to pause for a moment in order to serve the people waiting more quickly. This request was not motivated by his young age but by the urgency of the situation. Who knows, perhaps upon entering the world of work you too will experience some difficult situations in which you will have to quickly choose a solution. Cordially, Antonella
