The staff needs to be reviewed. Never before have I had to deal with such an unhelpful and unpleasant pharmacist. I'm talking about the curly-haired middle-aged lady with glasses and a hint of a squint. Thanks to you I will never set foot in your pharmacy again and no one else should. Yes, you tried with the justifications, it's a shame that the pharmacist remains the least helpful and most unpleasant one I've ever had to deal with in any case. As mentioned previously. There is no justification for this, not even if you make it up. You just have to take note of it and whether you want to act accordingly or not doesn't matter to me.

I am at work. My partner asks for advice regarding an antifungal drug and is given a powder. At home I am surprised by this and read the drug leaflet, seeing that it is to be used as an adjunct to the ointment. The next day, with a regular receipt, my partner brings the useless powder back to exchange it for the ointment of the same brand and with the same active ingredient and is told that the drugs cannot be changed. I called the pharmacy from work explaining everything that had happened and I was told to come back because, this being the case, they would have made the exchange. My partner goes back to the pharmacy, asking for an exchange given the phone call he just made and they tell him that the package has been opened..."and how can I sell it?!" Of course it was opened... I had read the leaflet, as mentioned, to discover that the powder could not be used alone! Nothing to do!...And what do I do with that dust?! I had really need to throw away €17!! This is triply horrendous: a) a product is sold that cannot be used alone when advice on a unique product is expressly asked for and none of us are pharmacists b) we will not accept the return of an unopened, newly purchased product with a regular receipt due to an obvious sales/purchase error c) you make a customer come back for the third time after agreeing to a transaction that is denied again. A piece of advice: the human relationship with the customer is worth more than €17! Furious! I REPLY TO YOUR ANSWER: A) I don't understand what the photo shown by my partner has to do with all this, given that those products were not available anyway. B) My partner will have chosen one of the two at random between powder and cream given as ANALOGUE. The PROBLEM is precisely that he was not told that they are not similar, and that the powder is purely an adjuvant to the cream...otherwise he obviously would have chosen the cream. C) I would have kept the powder if I hadn't read the leaflet and learned that it couldn't be used alone. Q) Unfortunately, the only way I can read the leaflet and know how to use a drug is to open the package. I will try to send a photo of the packaging in question to show "the unsellable packaging", which, forgive me, is a joke like few I have heard in my life. The package is absolutely intact and it is not even visible that it has been opened! E) I remember very well the phone call I made a little while ago from work and I know very well that I explained in detail what I just rewrote and what really happened. I never talked about the responsibility of one or the other. I also explained very clearly that I wanted the change with the other formulation of the same drug! My evening, thanks to you, is not as good as I would have hoped! P.S. I published the detailed photos of the "unsellable drug" separately, not knowing how to link them to the review.
