Yesterday afternoon I went to the I Gelsi pharmacy to buy some medicine for my husband who had an operation. I was served by a doctor with brown hair with a slightly long bob, she was really rude and not only was it clear that she was decidedly annoyed when she spoke to me, especially when she explained to me what type of cortisone cream she had to put on my husband on the interested party. I believe that since I am not a doctor the tones certainly had to be more cordial and certainly not haughty with a tone of superiority, but the most serious thing of all was that he insinuated that I had taken a box of Tachipirina while he took the others medicines from the back of the pharmacy. Which is quite unlikely since I'm not a thief and moreover I was busy and with my back turned as I was talking to and saying goodbye to a friend of mine. In any case, undoubtedly outrageous behavior towards me, to say the least. I'm quite shocked, a situation like this has never happened to me before. Furthermore, when she asked me if I had already taken the Tachipirina on the counter and I replied no, she was somewhat doubtful about my answer. Such behavior is truly unheard of. It is clear that this doctor should absolutely not work in contact with the public. Perhaps the doctor doesn't know that customers are important not only for the pharmacy where she works, but part of her salary is actually paid by them. I am an extremely polite person and respectful of other people's work, and therefore I demand the same education and respect towards myself. Furthermore, as someone who works in a profession like this, it is a duty to be kind to people unless you disrespect them, which I certainly didn't do.
The pharmacy is an activity aimed at human health, but apparently this is not the case. I understand that there are rules to be respected and I fully agree with them, but you shouldn't just think about profit. In this pharmacy, one Saturday afternoon, a paid antihistamine was not delivered (even without a prescription, but showing a photograph of this medicine - RUPAFIN) to my partner. This antihistamine is the only drug you can take that works and is prescribed by your doctor. She was offered a paid antihistamine (obviously, the same medicine checked out in the other pharmacy, the price was around 3 euros lower, and it was one of several that she could take without a prescription). Going to another pharmacy, explaining the situation and the urgency, she was given RUPAFIN (always showing the photograph of this medicine and it was delivered without any problem and furthermore the pharmacist declared that in case of emergency, it should still be delivered without prescription). I'm sorry but the owner of the I gelsi pharmacy should take into account the Hippocratic oath, a fundamental pillar in the study of doctors, even if you are not a doctor, instead of thinking only of the god of money. Obviously this is the last time I set foot in such a pharmacy.
Pharmacy inside the Le Gru shopping center. Large, very tidy and well-stocked room. I ask for information while I look through the shelves, the staff is very helpful and kind. I go to the cash register and find a pharmacist, who turns up his nose at my request for the prices of some orthopedic aids. I made it clear that I needed them for an operation, but that I wanted to understand the prices before purchasing them, given that the prices in circulation are very expensive. He understood that I didn't want to buy immediately and was rude, very annoyed to go to the back to get the aids and only tell me the prices!
Speechless: I was looking at Caudalie hand cream, the doctor approached me to ask me if I needed it, I didn't even have time to open my mouth before she realized that I had just opened the cap without letting the cream from the package come out and I heard myself say in a way to say the least not very conceited "he opened it now he has to buy it", I honestly didn't realize that it wasn't a tester even though it had all the features, the packaging was dented. I was forced to purchase the product, but I point out that all the packages had no external guarantee seal, which is quite serious for products on sale in pharmacies, at least that's how it works in supermarkets and serious shops. Just to conclude, while I was writing the comment, my daughter pointed out to me that by removing the cap there is an aluminum seal INSIDE which demonstrates the integrity of the product but above all my good faith. Today Saturday 23rd at 6.30pm.
Let me start by saying that my experience occurred on a Sunday, with the shopping center packed, so I understand that the staff may also be tired.... I went to this pharmacy to get my almost 8 year old daughter's ears pierced. The doctors were kind and the service was also fast, so, on this, I was very satisfied. We enter the room and the doctor prepares 2 devices: holes at the same time, so you do everything in one go. And here was the problem: one of the two guns, I don't know if due to human error or a defect in the device, jammed and only pierced halfway. Moral of the story, the little girl suffered a lot. But ok, it can happen.... The thing that, I admit, I really didn't like, was that the whole operation was performed without gloves. I understand everything, it probably was an oversight, but I think it's an important rule. At the time I didn't pay attention to it, otherwise I would have pointed it out immediately.
