Incompetent and unprofessional service. On the morning of August 28th, I ordered an ointment for my son, underlining the urgency to the pharmacist, given the child's inability to walk. I received an assurance that the medicine would arrive by 7pm the same day. Not happy, they also demanded a deposit of 10 euros on the total price of 15.90 euros (treatment reserved only for non-residents and among other things very exaggerated, typical of those who want to take advantage of a state of necessity, with the strength of awareness of being the only pharmacy on site.) But there is more. When I showed up at the scheduled time, I was told very superficially that the medicine was not available and that I would have to wait until the next day. Obviously I immediately requested a refund of the deposit delivered and above all I wasn't even given an apology. Consequently, I went to a pharmacy in a location a few kilometers away, asking by telephone for the availability of the product which was promptly set aside for me (without any deposit....) and which I collected without any problem after a few minutes. What disgusted me is the negligence that violates the duty of those who carry out this profession characterized by taking care of citizens, especially if they are children and even more disconcerting was their main concern in collecting the deposit instead of observing the commitment made for the pre-established time. Ordering a medicine is not like ordering a pizza. It is the responsibility of the pharmacy. I advise those who stay in San Nicola Arcella, that by moving a few kilometers to Scalea or Praia a Mare, they can have a more efficient service without praying to any saint for a medicine. Terrible pharmacy.
