After booking a swab for my 1 year old son, I called to check if the pharmacy swabbed newborns; I was kindly told yes. On the day of the swab, however, it emerged that the pharmacy does not swab newborns (despite the fact that they assured me otherwise on the phone). Result? We had to have the swab performed privately, obviously paying more than quadruple. Very sad that a mistake that is not mine results in a waste of money, time and fuel on my part
