Common sense is not at home! I show up at the pharmacy immediately after a wisdom tooth extraction, with the anesthesia still in my body and holding ice to my face. I show the prescription for a painkiller, I am denied the opportunity to purchase it because the date of the prescription was written in a hurry and appears unclear. I insist, saying that it had been made the same day (also because if it had already been used they would have taken it back from me, as per practice) and that my conditions spoke for themselves, but I was still rejected and invited to come back with a new recipe. Now, I understand respect for the law, but perhaps also a little empathy and understanding should accompany those who decide to undertake this profession
