Arrogant and impolite staff, find yourself another pharmacy
Ok
I was scammed. They literally took the money out of my hand and without telling me the price they beat up a receipt for an exorbitant price and refused to give me my money back. UPDATE: I am not at all confused with other pharmacies: this is precisely the pharmacy in question. The pharmacist in question was a young woman with dark hair. I advise customers to stay away.
Small pharmacy in Viale Garibaldi in Milan. Competent and friendly staff. Beautiful shop windows and a vast assortment of body hygiene products. 🔝
It seems necessary to write a review after my experience with these magnificent people. I went to this pharmacy (among the few, if not the only one, open in my area at that time) to purchase a protective mask for the corona virus, which I remember being as of today, 17 April 2020, a MANDATORY garment for protect your personal health and that of others. I wasn't looking for a professional mask, but simply a surgical mask, the simple green ones. The price of the mask was around €2, a low price I admit, but I didn't have any coins or cash. But come on... I live in Milan, the most advanced and avant-garde city in Italy, those who live there like me know well that the only thing you can't pay for with your card are cigarettes (and some even allow you to pay those). The very kind and professional lady, who I imagine is the owner of this place, had the barbaric courage to deny me the purchase of the mask because I wanted to pay by card and for her it was "too low an amount". But how can you think about the taxes you pay on €2, in a GLOBAL PANDEMIC situation allowing me to leave there without having made a necessary and obligatory purchase, I certainly didn't want to buy a skincare product for my daily beauty routine. It was at that moment that I realized that the shame of Italy is small people like you. Obviously the reader may think: "well you bought more so the amount was higher" but I was so disgusted that I didn't feel like giving my money to these s**t people who in a situation like this still think of stracas * own. I understand that you have costs, I could have understood the matter with another product but with this one you have shown yourself to be really dull and small. In my city they would have given me the mask if I hadn't had any coins, they would have said "take it and bring me the money another time" (also because, let's be clear, how much will a mask cost a pharmacy that costs in retail 2€? 0.10cent? Exaggerating 1€?) and this means being a good person, thinking about who is in front of you, what they are going through, how worried, stressed or nervous they are as well as the obligations imposed by the Government not the taxes you owe pay on the lowest amount! I will never set foot in that shameful place again despite being attached to my home, and I hope everyone who reads it will be like me.
