I notice a conspicuous box at the girls' feet but they go away without picking it up; so I approach, bend down and pick it up, and as I put it back on the counter where there was a pile of other identical boxes, I smile at him, and tell him: 'it fell, I'll put it back here'... Well yes! I confess my vanity! I would have expected, even if apathetic, a thank you. He, with his impassive coldness - but with such professionalism! - says: what does he need?... Maybe the girls knew better than me...
