The "management" of the customer deserves some more reflection on the part of the owners and the director of the Pharmacy: perhaps something has changed, I don't know, but certainly the welcome has worsened, so much so that I have decided not to go there anymore. Unlike the reviews of other customers, I "save" the affable attitude of the male pharmacist, in my experience smiling, friendly, generous with competent advice. He deserves 5 stars: then there can be "bad days" for everyone, at due to bureaucratic problems, product availability, or other. Instead, less than 2 stars for the pharmacist (not the one with the white hair), but the other, shorter one: arrogant, opinionated, rude! More than once! I am sorry to point out these negative aspects, and I hope that an intervention by someone who can correct it will be effective for the improvement of the whole team. The lack of experience of the younger pharmacists is bearable and over time they will improve (hopefully) if well guided. underline the frequent lack of products: perhaps it is the fault of the warehouses, or of stock management errors and consequent "narrow" orders from the Pharmacy, but it is a disservice in other pharmacies where this does not happen or at least not with the same frequency Without arrogance and arrogance everything would be more bearable. Best wishes for the future!
I have been a customer of the Magna Grecia Pharmacy for over 20 years. All the staff are very knowledgeable and courteous. Above all, the figure of Dr. Pietro Minonzio stands out, owner of the pharmacy who, in addition to being professionally trained, has always given advice on the best use of drugs and On the best medical therapies to follow.
Let me start by saying that it is a good pharmacy thanks to the older, kind and helpful doctor. Even the non-pharmacist employees are kind. The situation changes with the other pharmacists and especially with the pharmacist, the only man. It is easy to identify him above all because he is characterized by a profound "humility" and "availability". I tell the story. Precisely to avoid arguments, the evening before I phone the pharmacy asking to reserve a medicine on prescription. The pharmacy, I don't know who was behind the phone (whether pharmacist or shop assistant), replied that there were no problems and that I could collect them the following morning. To be sure, the following morning my wife calls again, this time a pharmacist answers her and confirms, once again, that everything is ready for collection. I am sure of this and introduce myself. A young doctor welcomes me and becomes strange when I ask her to collect those drugs. The nice, kind, humble male colleague comes to the rescue and tells me, with extreme rudeness and an annoyed voice, that the drug wasn't there and that it had to be ordered. I told him, kindly, that I had called the day before and in the morning and that I was told everything was ready. He doesn't accept my words and continues with his reasons. Meanwhile the young pharmacist goes to the warehouse and finds the drugs. At that point I think everything is solved. But NO! The male pharmacist tells me, again with extreme arrogance, that he couldn't give it to me because something in terms of ASL skills hadn't been indicated. I'm weirded out because I was strong from the previous phone sessions. Always the "kind" gentleman begins a long tirade on the skills between suppliers, medical prescriptions and ASL, treating me almost like an idiot. "Dear Doctor, I remind you that it is not God who has come to earth but a simple employee, like everyone else. You should keep your personal frustrations out of the world of work and be more respectful of the customer." In the end the drug, despite being on the counter, was not given to me. To avoid further fuss, I take the recipe and leave disappointed. Now, I turn to the Magna Grecia Pharmacy. If your employees (pharmacists or otherwise) do not know how to give the correct information, it is not the customer's fault, try to train them adequately. All I would have needed was more courteous behavior and a simple apology and the whole affair wouldn't have left this bad taste in my mouth, since no one wants to waste time. Instead, it seemed I was wrong. In fact, I remember having the foresight to call twice to ask what to do. The customer doesn't care about the skills of the ASL or not. The customer asks, the Pharmacy responds. The rest is your internal problem. It seems very simple to me. Next time I will go elsewhere because I don't want to be treated like that.
One of the staff (the older one I think, blonde) is very rude. I ran into her more than once and each time she related in an unpleasant way, showing zero empathy and zero availability. I will never go to that pharmacy again. All the other girls are very kind and professional.
I just purchased a pack of 10 surgical masks for an emergency and I paid €5.00 for them, which was madness. I asked the pharmacist why this price and she half-heartedly replied that it's like this... a shame. Shortly afterwards I also called saying why the price was so high and that they were the only ones who had it like that and a gentleman rudely replied to me to change pharmacy. Shame
