This is a small pharmacy on one of the best streets in Florence. Run by the smart and cute Dr. Fady, whose English is perfect and matched by a fine sense of humor and understanding of Americans. One cannot beat the care and level of service here. 2013: Alas, Dr. Fady has moved the business to Scandicci! :(
Professional, friendly and fast. Clean and well organized environment. They also have a good assortment of supplements and cosmetics. During the week they are open all day, on Saturdays they are open until 1pm.
Bad interaction with the two pharmacists on duty: when asked for potassium and magnesium supplements without the addition of risky additives (organic), I was told that it is impossible to find any on the market. I was offered one of their products packaged in a local laboratory and, upon my attempt to scan the product with an app to verify the authenticity of the product, I was "politely" shown the door. It's very unfortunate because in the pharmacy there should be qualified figures willing to listen, guide and clarify any doubts for patients. Luckily, at a nearby municipal pharmacy I had the desired product, absolutely natural and free of additives and excipients.
Kindness, education, hospitality....niceness....what more do you want...
