Farmacia del Porto

I went to the pharmacy to have my ears pierced; I got terrible service and NO PROFESSIONALISM: the pharmacist, in a dimly lit cubbyhole at the back of the pharmacy, did not wash her hands, did not wear gloves and did not disinfect her earlobe; furthermore he made the 2 holes too close to each other and the butterflies behind almost overlap. I went to the pharmacy thinking it would offer better service than other stores, but I was really wrong! Don't go there and choose other locations.

The clerk who served me was mannerless, from arrival to exit. I go to buy a syrup for fatty cough, specifying that it was fatty and politely asking that it didn't have a bitter or unpleasant taste. He showed me only one, costing 12 euros, where it clearly said no sugar, even if there are other sweeteners the taste is still disgusting, despite having previously asked you to choose carefully. I don't think there can be only one type of syrup available in a pharmacy. Evidently, in order to sell that product, it was not relevant to provide a terrible service to the customer. I have never been asked for my health card.

The doctor with the tattoos barely looked at me (without saying hello) and asked me what she should do with my health card. Given that when I arrived she was doing the crossword puzzle on the desk and in plain sight, evidently taking a break from her hobby to work will have disturbed her. After dispensing the medicine, no greeting and again a look down at the counter. Unacceptable from a professional, fortunately there are very good pharmacies in the area compared to this one.

Very prompt, highly trained and extremely available doctors. Professionalism and empathy characterize the Porto pharmacy. I don't think I will change.

I join the numerous previous comments on the absolute lack of courtesy and professionalism of being female with blonde hair. An experience at the limits of decency that not even in the worst slums. Luckily I didn't need medical support because even the basics of civilized living are lacking here. I'm sorry for the employees at the pet corner who are very kind, but I won't go back again.
