Everything you want in a pharmacy. Prescriptions filled quickly and correctly. No muss, no fuss.
Kindness and courtesy live here. It may happen (rarely) that the requested medicine is not available, but just book it and in the afternoon or, at most, the following morning, it will be there ready to be collected.
The Ghigi dalla Valle Pharmacy is absolutely the best in Ravenna. Pharmacists are extremely professional, helpful and empathetic towards customers. They are very collaborative and always ready to find solutions where necessary. They have great listening skills and make you feel welcomed in your physical and psychological needs. They demonstrated competence and care even during the Covid emergency through careful assistance. I also tried calling them from abroad to get some advice which was useful to me. The only flaw: they are addictive, once you know them you can't do without them. Strongly recommended!
I went to this pharmacy for a rapid covid-19 test. The pharmacist, once he had prepared everything needed, literally caressed my nose with the swab, turning it in the tip of a single nostril for a few seconds. Now, I certainly don't have to be the one to teach you how to do an antigen test, but at least you have to get to the mark marked on the batecco. I would have preferred to do it at home a thousand times since I can reach the mucosa that covers the sphenoid bone, where there can be a high viral load, passing through the choan cavity. A negative result does not ascertain anything in this case, except that whoever did it was either wrong or was not capable. I'm sorry to say this about a doctor (as was the person who did it to me), but certainly with these conditions in pharmacies it is normal to understand why there are around 100,000 covid cases a day...if false negatives are free to spin! The only positive side: the truly perfect courtesy and organization.
Scary lenses. Customers wait under the sun for several minutes because there are only 2 employees inside, 1 of whom is in charge of Covid tests. 20 minutes to get into the pharmacy at 9 in the morning.
